Story
The directors, management and staff at Oak Flats Bowling Club and Illawarra Yacht Club are teaming up together in partnership with C.ex Group to join in on the C.ex Community Crew Sleepout!
We are wanting to make a difference and build awareness in our community and raise funds for our local charities and initiatives to improve the conditions of the homeless and domestic violence situation, that's why on Wednesday 22nd June 2022, we will be camping out on the Oak Flats Bowling Club premises.
We understand that homelessness and domestic violence is often the result of multiple complex issues causing families and individuals to face crisis situations that leave them physically, psychologically and financially at risk. Without support, these circumstances can quickly spiral out of control forcing Australians to sleep out in the cold.
All funds raised from our sleepout will be evenly distributed to these charities.
We also need the help and support from our community, by making a secure online, tax-deductible donation or sharing our social media posts.
